Engin Balancing Question?

Re: Engin Balancing Question?
i was looking at dyno flo as well but im not hip on eagle cranks.. i talked to a few machine shops that have used eagle cranks and they told me they have poor indexing and other quality control issues, but they also say the eagle rods are ok for 700 hp. dyna flow will however let you upgrade to higher end cranks for about thier cost diff for the better cranks. there is another outfit that is selling new complete marine long blocks for great prices. "marine engines" they sell torque monsters a 540 is 7800.00 and a 632 for 9850.00 these arer dynoed engines the they break in and tune on the dyno then remove intake, carb, balanceer, and dist, then drain the oil and ship. i talked with the builder and if you send a carb & dist and buy their merlin intake they will ship eng as dynoed. alotta bang for the buck there # is 1800-786-7639 they were easy to talk to and freely answered any question i asked about the engines. im going to buy a pair of 632's for spares after i complete my blower motors. peace out, ratman
