If you want to be fast like Reggie

Give Ron a call :Advanced Airflow Engineering

No, he isn't paying me , but I do get great
deals ! Plus I grew up with him.
He has done, Stadium trucks,Winston cup, Trans am , Boats,Drag racing, and Viper/scca stuff.
I would rank him up there with CFE .

Lukavich Racing in Royal Oak MI does some pretty nifty head porting. (248)280-0240
I have a Nickerson stage 5 850 (980 cfm)carb that I had previously run on my 496. It worked great. I have since moved up to a stage 5 1050 and it works even better. I could part with that 850 for around $450 if you are interested. I think its around $895 for a new one. Good luck.

Valako Race heads, 616-735-0800 and ask for Jim...he does mostly heads for marine applications from mild to wild and he's reasonably priced. You should check out his web page.

Cigarette39, go to Tinkerboater's first post within this thread and then click on "Valako Race Heads" and it will take you to his site. It's actually a home page right now but I think he's having a new professionaly desinged website made up in the near future. I'm sure that some of the other head porting services mentioned on this thread provide a good service as well, however I have personally dealt with Jim Valako and like his work. There are several engine builders in his area that will even admit that when it comes to head porting, Jim can get the most out of a set of heads....and there are A LOT of guys around here who're running his heads.

Jim, I'll try to get in touch with you again in the next couple of days. I've been extremely busy since I talked to you last. Was wondering if you had a chance to check out Canfield's flow numbers? I did get my motors out. Sounds like "Kaama" is trying to brew up some business for you. kaama82
