The boat just needs more than a 525. Sits too much in the water. Probably runs best and comfortably at 75-80. I really like the 525, purrs like a kitten. As you know the internal cooled is great for salt water. I believe Merc racing has a 600efi ouit there but don't think it is worth the money for a few more MPH. Don't know what to do. Thinking out loud though.
Regarding LIS, it was great Sunday. I'm taking FT to Florida Friday morning. Hope to get there Saturday and out on the Gulf Sunday if I don't go to St. Pete for the races. What dilemmas!!

I have talked with several people who have had a whipple installed on the 525efi. I can tell you that it is not a kit to be installed by just anyone. The people that I have spoken with say that when installed with out putting on the dyno machine and reprograming the computer will have problems. After speaking with Tyler Crockett he would be the only one I would let do this set up.

The boat chine walked real bad at 92-94 MPH with a unlabbed 30 Bravo 4 blade. I am buying 3 used Whipple 525 blower kits and I am using 1 maybe two of them let me know if your interested in doing yours.

Where the people you spoke with happy with their 525 whipple set up? Any problems with it?
