Default Stringer Core Removal Question?

I have cut off the top of a stringer in my boat. I did so because there was a lot f rotted wood inside. My problem is how to get the wood out that is still attached to the inner stringer laminate. I have drilled into it, used a chain saw to remove, but still have the parts still attached to the stringer walls to remove.

Any ideas would be great.

If you're trying to dig the wood from between the two verticle glass laminates, I dont think that's the normal way.
Cut the stringer from the hull entirely, glass & wood. Epoxy a new wood stringer to the hull, filling all spaces completely. Then glass over the wood onto the hull.
Or just use dynomite.

I realize that this is not the "normal" way to do this, but I was given a lot of advise here in the past to cut off the stringer caps, remove the rotted coring, replace it, then recap the stringers. Seeing that the stringer laminate is not damaged, it made sense to do it this way. Just attempting to find a better way to get the coring out in the places where it was not rotted and more difficult to remove.

If you're going to try and slide something in between the 2 pieces of glass that is left I don't think you'll be able to secure it properly. To many voids. I'd cut it out entirely, hull up.
