Shawn, you are welcome. Always glad to share my experinces with fellow boaters.

Kaama, nice job on the pics!! What camera do you have. I need to get one. Then I could type less.. and that is what I was referring to..

Bad Dog,
The three ITS top caps that I measured were very close, if I remember correctly. The first one I did was for my standard bravo with XR gears in it. It measured right on the money. I checked my records for Kaama's caps and his were right on also! Although I hesitate to say yes, just swap, you are probably safe. You never know what one run of product will show up like if it was made on a Monday or something.. I like to measure everything and then I know. But what I have seen so far from Merc has been pretty close tolerances in regards to the X caps.

I run the Billets and love em. There is a new Billet cap with steering bracket built in.
