Hook on trailing edge of hull....what if.......

Re: Hook on trailing edge of hull....what if.......
Very nice looking boat. But I agree with MC......Not sure I would attempt this on this boat. Your less than WOT runs handleing issues may further outweigh the gains you get for the times you are running all out.
And why do you want to do this on one that is 4 sale?
BTW, On you other question, when you look at Hyd steering. Make sure you have enough room between the drive and the molded swim platform recess for mounting the ram/rams. In your case, the add on system will be fine if you want to keep the cost and install work at a minium by not going the full hyd system.

Thanks US1. BTW, the pix are from when I bought the boat. It's not for sale for another 4-5 years. Where would be a good place to get the ad on system?

I'm sure Fred at Trick can get you fixed up at a good price. Also try Allen4. He is a dealer for a very high quality system, that was designed and built buy 2 OSO members a couple yrs ago at very good pricing. Or drop a PM to Brian, 'ALFSTER'. He is one of the guys that designed this. Super nice guy. I don't know if any work on Alphas, others can anwer that one. I had the Lathem add -on on my last boat. Also a very nice product.
