Gerry thanks for your info. I have been looking for a good used strainer ,with out all the nuts/bolts on the top. The Harden one above has 2 outlets. so it might work out .

From you pick are you using the supperchiller innercooler? When I was running one on my Scarab They[John at PFM] recommended for every pound of boost they wanted 2 pounds of water pressure going thru it. Also mine was plumed like your except I used a 10 on the dump to get the pressure up. I was running 11psi of boost.I could never get the water presure up high enough.

You can see my dump on the transom 3 10 and the little Marine Machine sea strainer 16 feeding it and 12 coming out of it.

I just want to get this right the first time before the motors go back in

Thanks for all your sugestions.
Rob

Now wheres the drill

Yes I am using the same type as the PFM actually there
Richard lees with Dustins cupra cores. I have played with
the lenth of the pickups. I also cannot get any higher then
10 lbs pressure. 10 lbs boost. I have no way of knowing if there flowing. I will add temp gauges or move the transom dumps where I can see them. I remember the first run
I had someone hold the sticks as I leaned over the Transom
to view the dumps. I was amazed at the amount of water
comming out. I white knuckled my hands holding onto
the life rope so I wouldnt fall into the meat grinding arnesons.
Oh another little trick I did was took some 1/8 inch air brake line and teed the back of the intake/ heads together and brought them into a 1/8 port in the intercooler. Dont really know if it does much. I think I was trying to eliminate steam
and at the same time help warm the chiller for better Idle.

I remember running last year always wondering if they were
circulating. Its on my list for this year to do one of the above.

Looks Awsome!
Who makes those nice tall arrestors?

Gerry My new Whipples has the water ports on the rear of the intake and they want you to dump it overboard . I figure it the same for the steam. The flamers are Gaffrig. They hurt HP They still had all the mesh in them .Yea there is a lot of water coming out the back. You would not believe the water that comes out of the B-Max's top cap
