I was away last week when all of the news of rule changes and a new P6 class came out. I heard about it, but where can I read about?? I thought everything had already been decided at the end of Feb? When is OPA going to post the "final" rule book?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OPA proposed class changes
P6 26ft and under single engine only 70 mph and under
P5 30 ft and under twin and single 75 mph and under
P4 twin and single 85 mph and under
P3 twin and single 95 mph and under
P2 canopy twin 105 mph and under
P1 Canopy Cat 115 mph and under
Turbine, and PX Speed will be set race by race
Look at the mph per class. Going into the rule book on friday.
This is what the majority of the racers want. We can still adjust. What do you think? Smitty

I also like the fact that the SOB Class is still available !
Hopefully they will attend this year!

Re: OPA proposed class changes
We have encouraged the SOB's all along. If you have a pulse and a boat, we'll find a place for you. The offer still stands for the SOB. Their big issue was the cost of entering a race. No more issues. No more costs. bring them on. Show me 5 boats you have your own class. With a purse. Any Questions?
