I like the idea of dry exhaust as well. It would make some noise at least and sound more like a powerfull motor. With stock manifolds its way to quiet and lets face it louder is better!

Frank, what is the big goal you are shooting for in SBI?
Build less expensive Factory race boats?
Slow down the class?
Keep the rules the same with APBA?
Get older F1 boats out?
Sell Merc. products?

"anyone have an idea of pricing for the package/or just the motor?"...what i said before...it's NOT and OEM package, nor is it a merc racing product(ZERO support)...f1 could get buy w/an HO package but no way for f2...f2 the parts will have to be sold separately.

just for the record...i really would like to see this work out for the class...i just want to get all the facts out there so people can make informed decisions...i believe that part of the problem with the sport is people really have no idea until they get involved...which inevitably makes their stay in offshore racing short lived....
while most ask the question; "how to bring racers back?"...i believe the only question is "how to bring new blood to the table and how get them to stay?"

Pricing I was told will be out around the second week of December. And no, these are not OEM motors. They are stripped down and without the internal cooling.These are for F1 and F2. Dave
