John,
We are glad to hear your boat is repairable and will be running again next year!
The question is what will we see from Deep V Cats? You just know Lee has something up his sleeve!!!!!! I guess we will have to wait for Miami.

No boat for me this year. Really would like to do it as this has always been my favorite class. The timing just still is not right. Do not count me out in the future though. Where there is a will there is a way. Thanks for updating that list. Did someone buy the HULK, I know he said it was up for sale???

This has been an a very interesting thread but the question remains. How come nobody is running 28' skaters any longer? Have they all been converted to pleasure boats?
One more question for you outboard experts How does a 35' motion run with outboards? Has anybody run one with 300xs twin or tripples?
Merry Christmas to all

Mike, a canopied 28' Skater would be hard pressed to run with the 30 & 32's in any sort of water. There are a couple floating around that could be raced, and would probably do well in the flat water venues.
The 35' Motion runs well with outboards, it is very comprable to a 32 Skate classic. I would think with 300X a twin would run just under a hundred and a triple would run 110-115.
