Well sort of, but I can't really tell yet. Just when I think Super Stock could not get more interesting, it gets more interesting. I will post as soon as I am unleashed. SQ

I am curious, with the APBA/SBI deal is the SS class now a class that will be "honored" by the APBA?
Reason I ask, is this will be the final year Tim and I will be racing the bat boat out west. It is our eventual goal to run SCL, so a SS boat would be a good step to that goal. We have been considering SVL, but I agree with Ryan as this class appears to be the best bang for the buck.
Honestly I should have bought the AMT from Harry Clack when it was available. Why not I already own one former Clack boat.
Any information you could provide would be appreciated.
Also, are the Spectre's not competitive? We have a local Spectre dealer who are pretty good friends of ours and I think they would probably give us a smokin deal on a new race boat (with their name as the primary sponsor of coarse).
Thanks,
Rick

Marc,
I think they are having a meeting this week and weekend. Make some calls I am sure someone from your class will be there. Ryan Beckley may be the best one to talk to. He is usually always up on what is going on. Best wishes in 2005 and Thanks for the updates.

Marc,
Really looking forward to having you guys race with Super Stock. The competition will heat up for sure. If my sources are correct the parties will be ramping up several notches as well. Is that true Marc? ..
About the rule books. 05 is almost the same as 04 with the exception of the propeller rule (no Herrings). I understand there might be more tear down motor inspections this year. If you have any specific questions regarding your set up call Lee Austin he is our class representative 954 791 2552
What we all like about our current set up in Super Stock is the way the rules are made. We as a class get together and discuss it and then we vote. See you in Miami. SQ

Steve,
Having everyone in the class agree on rules or new rules will only continue to grow the class. All classes whether it is P5 up tp Superboat Unlimited should follow this as it can only help to grow them as well. Having guys just come out and out spend someone in a class is not racing at all. Keep up the good work growing my favorite class.
