Steve,

If I can make it happen trust me I will. As always there are no guarantees with me. Every time I think things are OK to do it unfortunate turn of events happen. To date this is and always will be my favorite class guess that is because I like outboards and this is the only place left to run them. Leaner, Meaner, and Sweeter!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Steve..

Now I have to track down the 04 handbook. Dan and I are really looking forward to running with you guys this season. I do enjoy a good party However this will have to wait until AFTER the race. With so many boats in the field there will be little margin for error.

Marc,
Call Lee about the 04 book, he will have a line on one for you. 954 791 2552

You are right about the margin for error. It will be like a tunnel boat race out there. Twelve to fifteen of us going into that first turn will make it very interesting. I can'y wait. SQ

Do all boats have to weigh in at one weight at the end of the race or is there different weights for different boats? What is the weight or weights for particular boats?

30 - 4050#
32 - 4300#

Lots of cool stuff going on Mercury just announced a $25,000.00 credit contigency program for outboards in OSS.

Its gonna be cool when 15 boats show up for a race and it should happen this season.

I was told Mercurys OUTBOARD contigency money was just for the OSS series. It is $25,000.00 total for 2005.
There is money for the winner of each race, the top 5 in the national series, and for the winner of the worlds.

Yes its for OSS only. And there is much more than that for the other classes as well. There is lots of money to be won in OSS if you are into that kind of thing.

Team Recycle America Aliiance is going to VERY busy this year competing on THE SBI and OSS circuits. Lets hope there aren't any overlapping races.
