Its like any rule book. Some people have problems interpreting what the rule really says and go beond it knowing what it meant and then arguing that it didn't say it specifically in the rules. Like a manufacture we all know but I wont say. Shane is really good at this topic and maybe he can elaborate on the rules for SBI.

Also how do you expect all the OSS teams to race if no one has your CRE seals on our motors. We all trust merc. seals but you dont. I hope you dont think 35 teams are going to rip there motor's out and spend the money to have them sealed by CRE again.

You dont have to rip them out...... you could just unbolt them.

It is time to come out of fantasy land, realize OSS is here to stay, it is a professional curcuit. and will only continue to grow.

I know you will continue to bash them, but most will consider the source.

First Pete, I have not bashed them. I have asked some questions that have gone unanswered until Paul posted. And as far as "most will consider the source", most of who?? The 30 of you guys?? Further, GMC was never a threat to "take over" it was just a fact that mother Merc doesnt like competition in the marketplace, especially in the race arena. If you dont think that their actions were at least in part retaliatory then you are dilluted.

AHHHHHHHHH,leave The Jersey Boyz outta this $hit. We race where, when and how we want and we have a ball doing it. As for The Jersey Boyz Logo tattooed on my back Randy ,it stays, screw them all! I'm a little confused, RACE WHERE YOU WANT! If you would like to race SBI/APBA/UIM Worlds in Key West this year race two (2) SBI/APBA/UIM Races during the 2005 season. Pretty simple to me. We as racers make it complicated. We all have a choice. Abide by the Sbi/APBA/UIM rules for Key West and race or don't. It's YOUR CHOICE. Whatever you do, do it safe and have a ball. Augie

11 posts later and DRY SUMP has still not answered my question. Must be another silly person stirring up trouble, hiding behind a screen name again.

Dhlaw,
The details you added about CRE and so forth is part of the reason why OSS was formed in the first place. The owners group formed due to Mercury being pushed to the way side in factory classes and even Super Cat classes. MA had the best formula for the sport and at the time had the best series the sport to date has ever seen. The decisions that were made to make owners have to spend $$$s for new power plants across the board is from some stand point what pushed the Supercat fleet to leave and run in Key West that year that year. Hence the later formation of OSS. OSS has the support of Mercury do to there loyalty to Mercury. The Stock class guys are also the most loyal candidates as well.

Cool Re: Boat Count

Sorry about that. Either way, now you know and knowing is half the battle. People just need to shut up about UIM and so forth and just SHUT UP AND RACE!!!!!!!!! Prove all youR silly little posts on the race course and be done with it. The constant idiotic bickering among some of you is why this sport has not prospered to the points we all wish it would. ENOUGH WITH THE BS, GET YOUR BOATS READY AND GO RACE!!!!!!!!
