that seems to be the plan so far,i think we even discussed finding a place to host something for us. a few of us are going out thursday afternoon or friday morning . i will be at the meeting this thursday and will post any details.

looks like we already have a boat full if you find out there are a block of rooms reserved at one of the hotels can you let me know which one. I know July is still way off and the plans are still taking place but the excitement is building

This is a great point to bring up and I hope some info will be available soon. I will make sure to address this at the meeting on Thursday and if no one has started the research I'm sure that someone will soon. Better yet, come to the meeting on Thursday and volunteer to do this! Perfect job for you

The club does have a group research project coming up soon it's called the Tadsen Tea Party on May 13th.

Scott, I am trying to convince Ian to go to the meeting on Thursday, trouble is he works from 6 AM till 5:30 PM in Auburn Hills Have you moved yet? Maybe I will come on my own because I would like to help out however I can.

Unfortuantely we are heading to MS for Ian's nephew's college graduation the weekend of the T Party. I called Old Miss and asked them to reschedule graduation and they said they were sorry but it was impossible, darn those rigid southerners

No we are working on the house to put it up on the market we should be done in another week. The competition is very strong in our area so we want this house to show perfect and hope for the ahh factor and a quick sale! Hey it's O.K. to dream.

I would not worry too much about going way out of the way for the meeting and would consider making it to the Monroe meetings instead (a lot more practical).

If they need help with room availability and block deals I will put your name in as a possible volunteer. I would hope someone that has close ties on the Island would step up to make the arrangements this of course would be the best option.

I have not talked to any of the guys since the last meeting and will not speculate on what's been handled but I can only assume it's just way too early in the year to organize a lot of the run since most of the owners (Islanders) are in warmer climates.

Scott, it makes sense about going to a meeting in Monroe funny thing is I thought it was in Monroe, I looked again and realized it was on Monroe St in Toledo, so I will not be making the drive. Don't put my name down for helping with accomodations because I don't know a thing about the hotels and only a little about the island. However feel free to sign me up to help with something else on Friday, Saturday or Sunday of the run
