Bob, Ian and I were talking about this and are definately in. Happy to hear this will not be poker run, we much prefer the tour idea, 45-50 sounds great for our Mondo condo. I am sure for those inclined a few high speed break outs can be arranged. We plan on taking a week's vacation. What's everyone else's time frame?

I think we should call it the OSO International Rondevious, only I can't spell Rondevioux, can some one help me with that word:D Us Americans also need to think FAR AHEAD and get the necessary papers to boat in Canada I know it has changed in the last year, you need more than a passport. If anyone knows what is required please post the information. thanks.
Christian sorry that we sort of high jacked your thread, but I guess you should be flattered that your pictures have inspired so many of us. So please post more pictures it will continue to pump us up:cool-smiley-026: We also hope you can join us. |
How about the first week in August, the week after the St Clair Races, if we have to miss a poker run, so be it, this will be better.

Now, if Bob wanted to chart a small craft route tour up the east side and around the top, the chance of being weather stranded would diminish substantially. Hey Bob, maybe depart Orillia, out the Severn to Queens cove for one leg. The Railway is really a must see thing for visiting boaters I think. Head for the Key or French River for a leg via Parry sound. Run up through Beaverstone Bay and head east through the channel? |
