Elk Rapids is another good boat launch for larger boats, they are limited with on site truck and trailer parking, if the onsite lot gets full they guide you to another site a mile or so away which they transport you both ways.
Ok got it, any low spots to avoid coming in there ?

I didnt see any, the shallowest spot seemed to be a bar straight off the pond opening where everyone was gathered. You go from deep water coming in, when color changes you are at 20+/- and gradually comes up to 3' or so. Nice sandy bottom in the whole area.

This will be hard to describe but if your coming from the North circle around to the south and head into the sand bar from the south west. It will just keep you from having to drive 300 yards across a sand bar that varies in height. Also if your coming from West bay make sure when you come around Old Mission that you stay out past the litttle tower(marker which kind of looks like a small light house) It can get shalllow in that area.

Yes, don't cut corners around Old Mission. Watch your depth gauge.
Same with going in and out of Elk Rapids from the south.
