PS, met another guy there in an ancient Starcraft cruiser. Was docked beside him when he and his dad started asking me about the big lake. I pulled out a chart I had and showed him everything they were asking about. Answered all their questions and then gave them the chart. They were blown away.
Their final comments to me was about how shocked they were that a guy in boat like mine (life lesson?) would take the time to talk to people in a boat like theirs (life lesson?)and then to actually give them that chart.

80* and sunny today and 70* and cloudy tomorrow.
Wish I was there. Good thing is if you launch from Mazurks Access and weather turns to crap you're only a couple mls from the trailer.
5' - 6's are totally different when you can see your destination is that close

To those that are going over....., have large fun and be careful!!

you were on my list of people to call today. Been quiet on your side lately and thought maybe you sold the boat.
We hit town late afternoon today then to Flannigan's (Blacklick)
for pizza/beer (our pizza sucks down here so we're Jones'n) then to Buckeye tomorrow. Have a loaner boat reserved but not sure I want the hassle. The Buckeye Lake Bar Tour by car may be more fun.
We even have a DD
Starting to rain and blow here as hurricane Sandy heads our way. Looks like we're getting out just in time.

Skip Blacklick and I'll pick you up at the Island House Sunset cruise... Go to Flanigans when it's cold... which looks like the rest of your visit.

Out to shake off the leaves and getting ready for October boating in Ohio. May not get a November day this year.
