Default Speed Questions sr24

What speeds are you getting with what horsepower?
My gps says 119 with a 572sc (941hp....with meth injection)
Is this off in your opinion? I dont wanna be called a liar over gps readings so any info would be appreciated btw.......i have no idea what gear ratio my drive is (teague platinuim) spinning a 27 5 blade ive heard this is a horrible prop for this boat so any info on that would be great

I responded to your other post if the 119 is on gps thats a great number, with 920hp and 940tq 1.36 gears at 5600rpm I am consistent 115 best 117 with 2 people 2000 SR with a imco drive. I have to look back at my notes but I was thinking you needed around 1000hp to hit 120, not sure of the meth impact I am only running 7.5lbs of boost. I do have meth on one of my snowmobiles but thats running 28lbs

p.s. I have tried lots of props even a 5 blade herring which was terrible on the top end....in any case your boat is flying

HI sorry I don't get on the site too often so it delays my responses...send me your email address and I will forward you some pics of my boat, motor etc. These hulls love horsepower as you can tell, whipples are awesome, I am not aware of anyone putting an arneson on them.

There are two of them out there. One was in Colorado and the other in AZ.

Thanks for the clarification, I was unaware. How did they work out? I know mine is very senstive to X dimension and when I tried raising the drive it didn't work out as it was already pretty high.
