Just got off the phone with Rudy. He has two pistons being made for it right now, the head is being fixed as we speak. The spring seat pressures were way down, like 50#'s down, which is odd considering it only has 59 hours. Ring gap was HUGE, but not because of wear, all of them were the exact same at like 35 thousandths. No spring cups were used, which resulted in the springs moving around and causing guide wear. 10º too much duration in the cam in his opinion. Block was good, deck was good. All in all, I am glad I took it to him. He is getting back to me with an estimate.

He is very confident that we can make just as much, if not more power running the hydraulic roller and have a motor that will run 400 hours or more before a refresh. We will see how it goes.

Good to hear man. Sounds like there was minimal damage. I'm sure you can still make the same power without giving up reliability. I guess I should put I call in myself........

Hell yeah....I got a old truck camper lid we can cut down and glue on. That should be fine.........:lolhit:

That should work perfectly. :party-smiley-004:

In all seriousness, what would be cool would be a quarter canopy like some skaters have, basically just a tall windshield that you could look through rather than over. Could be interesting, but probably would not work with the lines of the boat very well.
