Thanks Don. I'm still planning on coming. I haven't booked a room yet though. My accomodations needed will depend on who comes with me :drink:

Engine compartment looks good. I like the k-plane pump location, that's about how I plan on mounting mine.

Thanks but I can't take credit for the pumps. The previous owner mounted them. He made up plates and used the thru hull hydraulic steering studs to mount them. He then drilled and tapped the plates to mount the pump mounts. It's a nice set up.

Holden's a great mechanic. He did a great job on the rigging. He built that thing for pure speed and rough water handling. Jdub, your boat handles better in the rough than other kryptonites. That shaved pad really makes a difference.:hitit:

Hey John, thanks for the ride yesterday. Hopefully we can get that oil temp issue figured out. I do think that the 80psi bypass is causing the oil to bypass the cooler. The more I think about it the more that makes sense, because once the temps were up and the pressures down, we cruised around at a reasonable temp, and it didnt climb like it did initially. Once it goes through the bypass, the temps will just climb and wont stop climbing until you stop.

The motor sure ran strong though, that thing is pretty quick. I dont doubt Rudy's guess of 600hp at all.

Took her out again tonight with a heat gun in hand. I ran it up until the oil temp was reading 240*. It only took a few minutes for it to climb. I jumped in the engine compartment with the gun and shot the oil pan, oil filter and the oil temp sender. All read around 180*. I also shot the feed and return lines from the oil cooler and there was a 40* difference. So now I'm thinking my old sender from my motor does not match up with the new Auto-Meter gauge. I'll make some calls tomorrow and see if they can ship some out to me before the weekend.

Aside from that the GPS is not working so I'm assuming the battery is shot in the antenna. So I don't have any numbers to report. But I can say she pulls hard and handles great. Flies nice and level and lands soft. Fun as hell to drive :evilb:
