Sounds good to me too. I'm sure Phil would be in also. Phil and I do are boating in the Chesapeake Bay. If you guys have never been it's some of the best boating around. Tons of places to go. I know of three Kryptonite's in our area. Plus dozens of other guys with some nice hardware. Either way I'm in.

We should finalize the place and time within the next few months. And make it happen. Would we want an overnight or a day trip?

Well thanks for volunteering me John

I am in for an overnight trip up there, as long as I can get myself all fixed up before then. Right now I cannot schedule anything that far in advance, because I am unsure of what my schedule will be with the new job.

And as John said, anytime you guys want to come down and take a ride in the Bay, just let me know.

No problem Phil

Sounds like we can put something together. It's about 5 hours for me so overnight would probably be best.

Default Seneca Lake

There is a restaurant/ hotel about 15 miles up the lake from me that could work (The Showboat in Himrod, NY) the SBPA uses them for there poker run, they have some slips and mooring, There are a bunch of places in Watkins Glen but no slips to speak of we could pull out at my place then drive or walk depending on our condition a few blocks to a hotel. The other option is the Village Marina they have transient slips and we could walk to a hotel. There is the http://www.watkinsglenharborhotel.com/ the slips are right in front of it.
On the North end is the Ramadan in Geneva on the lake and usually a band on Saturdays, mooring may be an issue, there is a dock but its usually packed.
The other option is sleep on the boats, see what bands are playing and do whatever works.
I am open to about anything, If Phil and John want to do it on the Chesapeake Bay that would be fine also. the important thing is we all seem to want to do something. The details we can work out in the next 3-4 months. Lets throw out some ideas and pick what seems like the best.
