We got a moderate pull. The efi takes patience to get set up. Jason felt is was ready for a 5400rpm pull and let it rip. Remember now the motor is setup to run 6400 and 10 psi boost.
So just some max numbers.
Over 800Hp and over 900ft.lbs torque @ 6psi boost. We ran the slowest combination of pulleys on the blower a 7.65"crank and 6" blower pulley. I would imagine it might make 8psi @ 6400 with the same setup. Jason is running a mock race on Lake George Saturday but will be back on the dyno Sunday. We expect a full pull 6400RPM's the way its set up now on Sunday, my guess is at least another 100hp. And with the pulleys that will get us 10psi I would guess I will achieve my goal of over 1000hp, Torque will be just off the chart.. Over 1000ft/lbs.. It will be run with the most boost we can safely run with he combinations we have, the fastest we have would be the 8.5" crank and 5.5" blower pulley. when its all set up on the dyno we will put it in the boat, and decide what the boat will handle.
I will post more Sunday. Monday and Tuesday I will be @ Performance Marine I am thinking a pull or two Monday morning to finalize it, and start installing it in the boat. I would love to have it on the water Tuesday but dont want to get my hopes up. Most important is it be perfict....

belt is slipping, we got a best of 1021 ft/lbs or torgue @ 4500 and 980hp near 4700, but after that the boost started dropping off and the belt was slippping.
I talked to Procharger just now and the Gilmore (cog) stuff is in the works.. we are going to have to mill some slots for the tensioner but thats not a big deal. I will keep you posted.

That leaves you about 1500rpms to get another 150hp for my guess. I think you got that......

Absolutely, if you can keep that belt from slipping.

John, you have your boat in the water yet?

The Cogs are on there way, will be to Perf Marine Tuesday. I was @ 10psi around 4500rpm, It hit its peak Hp @ 4700 and the boost droped off to 9.2. My guess is we will be near 15psi @ 6400. And belt slippage will be gone for sure. I will not be suprised to see 1250hp... and with the power it is showing me its reallly promising. I am going to have to put 1.36 gears in the lower and may need a cut down Maximus. think it will run 120mph? this is going to be a trip to say the least.. I need a cat, bet it would run 140+. I wil let you know on the dyno run, maybe Wednesday.

Just got back from Perf marine. I have some more setbacks but nothing serious. The cog system turned out nice. I may post some pics but am pretty tired right now. So we made a run to @ 5,600 rpm's we wanted to bring it up a little at a time and make adjustments as we went. after reviewing the run we felt we would need to switch to race fuel or lower the boost. Not having any more pulleys, and not wanting to waist time with race fuel as it was obvious my goal was met and I could do it easily without race fuel, I opted to overnight a few pulleys. Right now we have a 73T crank and a 50T blower pulley, it made 15.2# of boost @ 5250 rpm and was climbing. I ordered a 56T and 58T blower pulley.
Originally looking for 1000hp so built for 1200 hoping to be above 1000, is better than shooting for 1000 and ending up @ 900.
Remember again the motor is built to run 6400 rpm. with a 6800 (conservative) red line,
This is what I got with just a rough base tune that was lean I am sure we could have rung out 50-75hp more at the same rpm's with a little fuel enrichment. I will do 500 rpm increments, maybe I will take a pic of the dyno sheet tomorrow.
RPM TQ HP
3000 638 362
3500 801 533
4000 934 709
4500 1029 877
5000 1082 1026
5500 1110* 1059
5700 1104 1075*
* Peak

The 58T blower pulley should make 15# of boost @ 6400, I predict that will give me 1150-1200hp @ 6400. Plenty enough in fact the Tq and Hp it is making now should be enough to get the boat to 120mph. I will post an update after the pulleys get in and maybe some pics tomorrow.
I am pretty happy, but as Johnny Saris said it is not gonna be a sleeper.... The M5 makes some noise..

by the way the numbers I posted were observed not corrected, corrected was about 10% additional across the board. the 58T blower pulley was installed and we got just under 15psi @ 6000 rpm, We didn't take it further because the system was lean 13.1. the fuel pressure was dropping off. The plan is to upgrade the crossover lines on the fuel rail to -8s. one is a -6. I hope that takes care of it. The pressure under boost was 60 @ 5500 and by the time we let off @ 6000 it was 55psi.
I am going to look for some injectors also, anyone know of something below a 160# that's just a large jump from 96# we have. but the fuel pressure needs to be stable first.
I hope this does not turn into some big project, like the rails not flowing enough or something else. i need to call Accel.
We had just under 15psi @ 6000 and 1100hp in a lean state. I ordered a 70T crank pulley to get it down some more.
