Bert I wished now that I bought your boat when I had a chance but I still do not want a mid cabin boat. A 29 full cabin is extremely hard to find. Even a 29 mid cabin for sale is hard to find. I see the 2750 for sale but IMO most want too much money. Prices from 50 to 90 k for 2001 to 2008 in which is way too much for a single engine boat.

Yeah you should have and for way more money than I sold it!!! lmao

The best deal out there is Quent's 2750 MCOB practically a brand new boat, with a brand new performance motor and IMCO SC/Shortie. Just an incredible setup. 29's are practically impossible to find! I'm not regretting selling mine because I sold it for the right reason, the guy I sold it to just put $12,000 worth of JL speakers and amps in it. Before I sold it I told him the only weak point on the boat was the stereo, he certainly corrected that issue!

My buddy out here in VA has the old F1 race boat, totally redone. I'll ask him if he wants to sell when I see him this weekend.

Been looking also for a full cabin 29 w / single motor or would prefer without a motor for over 3 years now. Brian I think that Lavey F1 boat was 2750 not a 29 and if I remember correctly the color of it was yellow & orange. I might have to consider the 2750 but the cabin is way too small for me.

Yeah not a big cabin on the 2750. They cut the profile out of the nose and its cramp'd up there.

Mine has a d/lux plush liner so head bumps are dramatically less jarring and my rig with the flush hatch has even less than most 2750's which was the price I paid for a smoother deck.

Its enough for one night for me/lady since I have A/C (a big deal in a marina for a night)
DVD/Ipad entertainment, and custom lighting in mine but I wouldn't camp on a lake for more than a night underneath.

I spend at most a few nights a year oboard- it cases of rain it beats a tiny tent by miles and on Lakes like Mojave and Tahoe - storms can be dramatic.

On more than 1 day trips to big lakes I usually go out on big lakes with huge 2 room tents gennies portable AC and tons of gear and its great for that. It carries everything and still performs great.

With the 27's big 100 gallon tank you can run huge distances that only normally boats 4-8 feet longer can run without fueling

You can eat up shoreline like LA to San Diego runs in one shot,Temple Bar to Hacienda and back, Wahweep to the escalante river arm, Catherines to Hoover dam and back with no refuel etc.

When on the ocean I tend to pull from hotel room to hotel room so onboarding becomes less necessary for me.

I think if you are a hardcore onboard weekender vs tenter/ hoteller. its hard to beat something like Toms Advantage which is like a new York apartment downstairs....

I have been in your boat don't worry I took my shoes off and know the drill. LHC boatshow. I liked your boat a lot but I like the 29 better for the deeper freeboard and cabin.

The 29 eats up chop and is very well balanced plus not bad on the speed end. I'm sure the 2750 is even faster with the same motor but not as good with big chop.

I'm 6'3 - 235 and really felt like I was in a straight jacket crawling into your cabin on all fours. I would need a shoe horn to get in and out that size cabin even if I used it for storage.

Anyways no offense, you have a very nice boat and I know it totally works for you.
