Man GT that is a work of art and [COLOR="#FF0000"]your woman has a nice clear mirror to check her hair and make up after cleaning up your boat. Also I am glad you have the nicer quality rub rail installation, I feel better about than one. Dave your boat sticks out like no tomorrow in between those old mans boats. Looks like Catalina to me.
That pic is UD's ride! |
Beautiful and congrats!

Again, apologies for the text Schweeng but I can't take credit for whom I'm sure is UD's Lovely Girl shining up that Bad-Azz V10!
That pic is UD's ride! UD - tell us more Chris what town was it in? |
Sorry about that met to add Dave's name so it looks like I meant you about the mirror. I swear OSO has some kind of funky virus attached to its site. I type words that do not show up or words that double post.
Chris how did you find that boat ? You had to know the person who owned it. It is very nice, more pics of engine and transom and cabin. Very hard find a 29 especially with a cabin. I look all the time and can not find anything in a 29. Again more pics. Very nice |
I'd take some now but dropped if off at Teague's for a impeller. I started to do it myself this morning but the area is so tight and my tools were always too long, too short and bloody knuckles is not all that interesting.....
Found the boat on line...super nice couple that had owned it from day one. crap looks like I broke my own rule (no pic).... lol |
We need more bro....!Ill bet you are like a kid on Christmas thats such a fine piece!!

Ya know, you're making this financially responsible thing almost impossible!! Makes me question whether my kids need college or I need another Lavey! Congrats!!
|
Bert easy fix money 101. Just like the stock market. Buy Lavey low - use it for a while - sell it for high. Income made for your kids college fund.
|
Can't help but notice how well that financial strategy is working out for you! lol

The guys at Lavey do a really nice job with ALL of their dash layouts and controls. I have seen a lot of odd placements of things like drive/tab indicators from other manufacturers that you just don't see on these boats. Congrats, that's one beautiful 29! |
Chris man I don't like you anymore, you are so damn lucky because I have to tell you this, your new boat last year was advertised on the dreaded craigslist like it just was currently. I called last year on it and they never would answer their phone plus had no pics up for their listing.
I did ask a friend in that area about 5 or 10 miles away to see if he could get a hold of them on last years craiglist add. He never could either. Also I check for any and their 29 Lavey listings again a day before they listed this year. How did you get them to answer their phone. If I would have just check for it again a day later, no new boat for you. Anyways good luck with it and it is really nice. You beat me to it.. Take care. John |
I was just surfing and saw it listed. I was in Havasu two weeks ago and decided to go see it on my way home ....basically HAD to buy it after I saw it..condition of it could not be ignored. Trying to find a warm place to boat this weekend...
Thanks!! |

GoodTrade 2750- I've got quite a few pics of your boat during it's build stages.

Schweeng- that's the O'brians old boat right?
|
Yes it is. He kept it in top condition.
|
You have the nicer cabin interior also rather than the grey older style. That grey older style interior never matched the cockpit interior at all. I am really depressed again. Thanks a million. I think I need to quit looking up here or pay you to stop putting photos up. What is the weekly fee for you to toss the camera in LH.

Are they for sale from Lavey? Would they fit my 2750? I like the open bilge space for working in there but the added storage would sure be nice. Thinking about holding them down with quick release fender pins. In keeping with the intent of the OP, I'm adding this fine example of Lavey quality and workmanship! http://i.imgur.com/DhGsaVd.jpg |
