Hello 27 Magnum,

I wonder when the last 27 was built at the plant, Got to be a few years ago
I agree,, be nice if the factory would ofter to be a part of it and help
it is a unique boats with a lot of history behind it

Guy's Lets do it - The Factory should step up to the plate and host this thing, but if not, how about someplace mid-usa ie) Lake Cumberland Marine. We could break it up into NE SE NW SW. I think we could find a spot equal for most of the USA. I am from the North East. I know of four 27 Magnums in my backyard, any idea how many 27 Magnums are still around?

Checked back in my old news letters from sept.of 2000 and there was a reunion in St.Clair,Mich.that summer with 10 boats.R.Powers gave a Magnum jacket to the best boat,so i guess the factory was in on it.I think a reunion someware in the Kentucky Tenn. area would be great but i dont think Magnum would back it,but could be wrong.

Would be cool to even have a Thunder Boat Row get together, Magnum, Donzi, Cigarette, etc etc

How about a reunion in Chattanooga during the APBA race and make it part of the event

I'd do my best to make it from Minnesota.......

Launching and dockage for the weekend would be a concern......I'm not sure......but where I boat it's a total pain in the azz.

Magnum 27,I was thinking the same thing,but didnt want to be the one to suggest it.I bet Pops could help out with it to get more boats out for his show that week.Could maybe even put on a vintage Magnum race.Somthing like that might even get Giovanni off his butt and back it.

I think that's a great idea, probably even get the new owner of Grumpy old Men down to join us and have the only three Magnum's that still race at one venue would be great. I am sure Pops would be all for it. Let's get this in motion if that is what we are wanting to do. Does it sound good to everyone else? The Chattanooga race last year was a huge success and this year I guarantee will be even better. The racers last year said that this race was one of the best races they had ever been to, and I am not kidding. Pops put on a three day show that was unmatched as compared to other venues. If this idea sounds good to everyone else I will start putting the wheels in motion so speak up and give me some ideas.
