Both those boats are in MI about 30 minutes away from me.. Keep me posted, if you want to look into them more seriously ill be more than happy to go over and take a look at them for you. I also know a good appraiser guy out here that did my magnum recently who i thought did a pretty good job... Again, keep me posted if you ever want to pursue them...

i went to go look at a 27 magnum sport today and it use to be arace boat. the current owner really doesn't know much of the history on it besides that he knew it was a race boat, which i can tell because the cockpit on it is really small (like a race boat) so i also knew it was a race boat. i got the hull number which mag274021280 and i called Magnum and spoke with the gm so he can give me some information on it. the boat was built in 1980 and it was delivered over seas on jan 1981 to one of the kings of Kuit which his name was Sheik Bader Al Mulla. the boat was orignally all white with 3 man bolster and merc 260's on it. with no cabin. that's pretty much all he could tell me on it. i have pics but not in this computer but the boat doesn't look like that anymore. i know this is not much helpful information, but if yall know of this boat please let me know and post pics of it of how it use to look and if i pull the trigger on this one i would love to restore it to how it use to look in time

hello dammmagnum, i know the grey and white with burgandy trim, 1973 mag 27 sport, twin 400hp small blocks, trs,original- over-the-transome headers, three man bolster, i know the owner, it racks right next to my pantera 28, here in monroe, michigan.i do know that was a race boat, its been here for at least 20 years, maybe 25, know the guy that sold it to him, both the guys belong to my boat club, here, the boat used to say BONANZA on the side, texas instruments was also a sponsors name i recall,i was young then, they have a video of the boat racing, i recall someone saying it was a bright neon green at one time in florida, i can find out a lot more , let me know, i know the owner my pantera 28 94mph, twin700hp, TRS, is for sale in the classifieds, on here, contact # an e-mail there sincerly vertigo talked to the owner of the grey and white, with burgandy, here in monroe, he said the boat was first raced in florida as SHARTRUESE GREEN RACING TEAM, all green before becoming BONANZA racing
