Anybody recognize this Magnum, she made the cover of the South Higgins Lake State Park hand out. The name looks to be THUNDER BUM S-2,, a nice stock Trs sport ??

This probably isn't the right place to ask this question, but we'll see. I just attended a wedding in Harrison Township on Lake St. Clair Saturday. It's the first time I've been there. My G.F's parents have 8 acres on the water. On Saturday, a very pretty and temperate August day, I think I saw/heard one performance boat go by. I kind of expected more activity than that. Have gas prices affected the scene that much or has it always been like that?

I set off a really nice fireworks display on the beach that night.

The lake typically slows down in August, but this summer has been slow. Many boats never went into the water this year, gas here was $3.60 to $4.00 this year on Lake St Clair.

Was out on the lake today in my friends 40' Formula. We made a stop at one of the last few bar's on Lake St Clair,, Jack's, I saw a Magnum sport tied up on the seawall that I never had seen before. This Mag had black sides and white deck & bottom. With out a camera no pictures, but something looked familiar, the engine hatch and exhaust pipes . By the time we docked they had left but it dawned on me that it looked like that white Mag that was on ebay and for sale here on OSO. Did some one buy it ?? and bring it here from Florida ?? Had that same Magnum logo on the hatch too. Next time I will bring a camera !!!!!
