This was the first Damn Yankee P-76, it was a Maltese with Volvo drives, the P-222 was the last Damn Yankee,it was a Trs drive sport, and the Mag I had back in the 80's.

I knew your family very well, your grandpa Bob and I had many great times together, I also was in Key West at the worlds 3 or 4 years ago and your gandmother Noel and I had a great time talking about the good old day's. Your dad John made up for me many trick parts for my race boat Eastern Express, [THE KRUPP'S WHAT A GREAT FAMILY] And were a big part of the Lake St Clair Offshore racing History!!!

Found this Mirage broacher I save from the way back, shure has the look of a Cig ? One of the nice things Mirage did was to make standard were soiled race engine mounts. That was the first thing we did to the Magnun, even after all the years it raced before we got it, it came with the standard rubber eng mounts. Funny thing though all Mag's I have been on have a more solid feel to the ride, I think thats due to the Mirage has a cockpit liner atttached to the deck. The Magnums floor is much more solid sounding.

Joe, your Grandpa and Grandma were the very heart and soul of the Lake St, Clair Offshore Racing Association. I met them back in 1976 and we became fast friends. Welcome home, they'll be proud of you. I miss them all the time. I, too, have a picture of Damn Yankee framed with Danny Patrona and Bobby Krupp blowin' and goin'.

Default Enticer

This Magnum is a true Lake St Clair Mag I have known this boat since it was new. The first owner named her ENTICER after a nightgown from a Fredricks cataloge. He keep it bone stock, and had her for about 8 years. The second owner John was a good friend of mine, he had this Mag till last year. Always in a hoist and well cared for, and Bone STOCK ! Bill who ownes her now let me look her over a few weeks ago, let me say she is in great condition. She is for sale here on OSO not cheep but she is a beautiful classic Magnum.
