I think they are 12 inches long but the important thing it that they're 7 strips wide instead of the 6 strip kind that are available these days...

My pads are 7 strips, 16" L x 5-3/8" W .. The pads on my Sport were the same as my Sedan.

That figures....I'm shorter than average. Oh well, it's how you use the teak step pads....not the size.

Right?

That sounds like the ones on the Maltese. What I have seen they are longer then the ones on the Sport.

I managed to get hold of Garelick who up until recently manufactured a close match to the original step pads. Garelick claims there step pad used to have 7 teak strips and 5.5" wide and 12" long. I have not yet seen a picture but there might be some laying around in Florida.

Jeppe, The hinges on my Magnum were casted by Chris Craft. It's on the back side.

Thanks Jeff! That means it's time to start digging in Chris Craft forums. Is it possible that the hatch latches are from Chris Craft as well?

Sorry, I thought you all new which one me and my brother bought last fall.

It's an Orange '77 from lake St Claire. It's been on this forum before but unfortunately I can't post pictures right now. A hint; it spent a couple of days in Lake Erie, not on, in 2007. Thats when the hinges and the hatch disappeared.

Bud, I'll email you an old picture were the original hinges are still on.
