TRS II drives - not necessarily a bad thing. I had a TRS in my single Baja 454, and loved it.

So, what makes it a Maltese?? I've studied so many offshore boats, and want something a little unique and old school cool.
Is it a Maltese because of the rounded fairing?? is that the difference??
I know I sound like I know nothing of the history of Magnum, but I do know a good bit, just never studied them as hard as some of the other classic boats (donzi, Cigarette, etc..).

The bigest draw back to the Trs drive is the Trs trans, not as tuff as the BW 72 trans but if you keep the fluid cool & clean and dont over rev it they will hold up. If they have the electric shift change it to the mech linkage. My 9mm Mirage has them with big blocks and they still work well after 27 years. Good luck with ebay.
