Lee you are right but when Ken Black switched to Jack Roush power the E type didn't stand a chance. Back in the day in APBA - P class you could only run the Volvo club foot, or the Trs drive, no speedmasters.

Just purchased a 25 Magnum Sport with a 270 T...will put a 454 plus in it for a great boat for the grandkids to learn to ski from. Bud

Were the E-drive lowers any shorter than the club foot?
