Default Step Pads

Thanks Scip, looking forward to seeing them! Decided to go chrome with mine and I will post pictures as well. I weighed all the pros and cons of polish/clear coat, bright dip and chrome and thought I would go with chrome to match the vents.

I did however go with polish on the seat posts, here are some photos. Also, a few chrome pieces before install.

Dad came up with great idea of putting mounting plates under rebuilt floor so we could mount and remove seats without having to pull this center section up to do so. Great idea dad! Seat mounts from other side through floor and into these aluminum plates. Also, more hull photos, bottom gel complete, red and white stripes are flush to each other.

Another update and a little more progress. Big Broadjumper I had the bug too! Miller Marine North Carolina doing a great job. My project Manager (my dad) doing a great job too! I might keep him on the job, and he is available to consult and supervise! I just keep feeding parts, money and ideas and it gets done. Getting close to adding some chrome and the seats, pads, side cushions are claeaned up and ready to go. Bud, thanks for the kind words.

More to come,

Jeff

Default Help Requested!

Hey guys, any help appreciated on this issue. Does anyone know of a trick or process of removing the cleats right below the side marker lights on a Maltese? These are the midsize cleats on both sides right in front of the step plates. Can't for the life of me figure out how to access these. They are the last two items to be removed from the boat for polishing.

Bud, Mark? Really need your help on this one.

Thanks again and in advance,

Jeff

Sorry Jeff never worked on a Maltese. I take they are through bolted, not screwed down. Mark
