There is NO compairsion! For a lake thats almost as big as Lanier, it see's very little boat traffic. Was out last year on Fathers Day and stopped in the main channel to swim..played around for almost an hour and could count the the boats that went by on one hand. For my 20'er is the best big lake around..I get beat to death on Lanier in the summer months. Bad part is there is no one out there to play with except for bass boats and pontoons!

Allatoona ramps...
Since Allatoona is almost full again...
The Blockhouse ramp: Just off Old US 41
Allatoona Landing ramp: Allatoona Emerson Rd.
Galts Ferry ramp: Just off Hwy 92 (?)
Since I've got a Cruiser docked @ Allatoona Landing I'm not too familiar with all the ramps, so maybe some of my compadre's can add to the list???

I also put in at Shoal Creek at Lanier. The lake is at 1064, with full pool being 1071. Lake is up about 6 feet from the winter. Lanier gets really old in the summer on weekends, big waves and alot of boats. In laws live in Augusta, so we are going to head there more this summer.
