I envey those of you that are on Table Rock. It is and always be my favorite lake. We use to come down every year and stay at a resort on Indian Point. We have dogs now and they dont allow them. We live just outside Kansas City so it's a long haul for a regular weekend and we like to bring our dogs along. We have a place at Truman lake for now but I hope to retire close to Table Rock.

We need to find a place to stay that will allow dogs. We would take some long weekends.

JasonSmith is planning the TRL get together on midwestboatparty.com so we will post dates here when settled. By then we should have a new boat. Wont be as fast as u fountains (or Jasons) tho.

I have been approached by Baja to do an article in the Baja Magazine on my boat! I'm pretty excited about it. OK, I'm really excited about it!!!!!!
So, I've been asked to gather the troops, Baja Owners & bikini clad women for a photo shoot the 20th of October on Table Rock lake.
I have no idea on when it will be published or what exactally is involved, but I'm sure it will be fun at the very least.

We will probably go w/ another Baja. I found a 33 that we both like so hoping its still around in the spring.

I've looked at some older Cigs, Scarabs, & Griffs AT.
When i put my wifes requirements into the mix, Baja is bout the only one that we both can agree on. I know Fountains are great fast boats, their styling just cant win me over tho.

Do you make it down her much. I grew up in Des Moines adn make it up there once a month.

Bill we just moved to the lake last month. Just taking it all in and trying to learn our way around. Haven't met a lot of people on the lake yet. But that will fall into place next summer. It's like being on vacation everyday. We're in West Fisher Creek.

We really enjoyed Des Moines as well. Spent some time on Sailorville during the summers but kept the boat in a marina in Omaha and did most of boating on the Missouri.

Maybe everyone can get together for Jasons photo shoot. We can sit on the sideline & make fun of him. :ernaehrung004:

Early in the season? I think I rember that. My kiddo was up front with Nicole & they both were not too happy about it.

That was it.....I had my wife with me too. The conversation went kinda like this....(Her)"Are you racing again?"......(Me)"Shut up!"

That was by-far the dummest thing I have done in a long time! My 4 year old still won't get in the boat with me & I didn't even get a chance to open it up.
