Like everyone has said, you will be fine but try to avoid the main channel during the absolute peak times, Saturday from noon til 5 or 6 pm is usually pretty rough so raft up in PC or one of the good tie up coves or hit a few cocktails at Dog Days/Topsider/Shady Gators, etc until you see it calm down. There are also a lot of great spots to hit during these busy times of the weekend that are up the Gravois and all the way down at 30+ mile maker. We love to boat rather than sit at a dock, especially when it was hot so to keep moving during the day, head to the south end of the lake and bar hop, great times and very little traffic. Hope you have a great trip, be prepared for the heat!!!

Captain Rons is a great place to stay. The have cabins to rent right on their beach. They also have slips and night life on the water!!!
