I have heard that the Duramax's just make too much heat over 400-500hp and start melting down. The other company that has some duramax conversion parts it www.pacificp.com . If they could make 700HP reliably out of a Duramax I would be a buyer. It would be a real trip to see a Cat in the 120+ range with a diesel!

Diesels make no sense in a light weight high performance cat. If you want to burn diesel fuel get a turbine.

Weren't the Class1 diesel hulls on a par with Skater in terms of weight? Without the engines of course lol.

I've always liked turbines. Except for price they make sense on so many levels.
