I believe he misread the post.

If Hustler can do it, with their 50', Nortech definatly can. Nortechs boat is also 2' longer, and wider, as well as weighs appr. 2500 more pounds. I believe they just need more dialing in time. Im working on a 80 plus mph 4300 with twins. A light layup should get me there. It will be close. Cant wait. Jeff

Hello Jeff,

A 43' NT with twin diesel running 80MPH would be a great setup. The weight savings with Kevlar will no doubt make a difference. I hope they can do it.
At Sarasota we ran along side of the Hustler for a while on the way to lunch. They were running steady in the low 70's. But then I had to go back to work and left them. Looked good tho and not out of place at all.

I ran with Red from Miami to KW in November 05'. Nice guy. Daughter was sweet as well. I had never met him before that day but my original ride to KW (50 ft NT Warrior) decided not to run. Since I had just hopped a flight down to Miami at the last minute for the poker run, Red was kind enough to let me tag along. What a smooth ride. While not exactly the top end that Warrior has, it was a great ride. Like a Rolls Phantom on the water.

Just got back from Nortech, had a great day with Terry and Adib, excellent diesel experience and education. Had an opportunity to check out and ride in both a 43 with twin 480's and a 52 with trips. Working on prop testing. Thanks Guys ....Jeff

Same hull as mine thats being built with diesels. The trip Ilmor 625 which was a std. layup I believe went 98mph, so you are there just cause hull savings weight is approx 800 pounds. Your V-8 motor weight is a little more than the V-10's, but you also have approx 75 more hp which will cancel this weight out. My crystal ball says 101 with a good X-dimension. When will yours be done, thanks Jeff

Jeff your boat was next to mine in rigging great long range low maintience set up.Unfortunately I'm a little old school but I built my first 43 2 years ago with tripple 625's with xrs and the boat ran 90 mph in any sea wheather or weight conditions they built a trip 525 xr heavy lay up after mine with slightly higher x dimension that runs 92 mph. This boat is the first kevlar 43 but we put imco extreme drives with boxes and word has it the 650 efi's will dyno at 660 hp.so the goal was 100mph without blowers x dimension is aprox 4 inches higher keep in mind 2 years ago there were no 5 blade props to break this monster out of the hole now we have 6 blade herrings.hope for 100 mph but might do alittle better.Due date is july 16th first poker run is fpc bahamas july 20th lets see what happens.By the way how do you like your rig?

I loved my Nortech, I dont if you remember Sandy and I, we really didnt get a chance to talk or meet, but we met you guys at the Orange Beach Rendevous, in 04, we had the orange 4300 wih purple cockpit. I only had twin 750's, and you pulled me off the line and were about 10 mph faster. Ill be going down next week, mine was scheduled for delivery appr. first week in August, then add paint time. Looking forward to get back to boating. Post some pics when you get it finished. Thanks Jeff
