Looks like (1) 12 an, the other hose looks smaller. The tank exit still looks like it is small and stepped up at breather, a restriction. Going back a few post and "reading" there is positive crankcase pressure causing the problem. I'm pointing out the fix not critical of a photo.[/QUOTE] Relax take it easy I didn’t criticize you all I said was Look at the picture above your post no ego here. |

I was thowing out ideas for the cranckcase pressure. I would not do a vacuum pump but it is an option. I did do the Moroso pump on the Hemi drag car (no blower) and it did help at 9 second a pass. All your examples make sense for a marine application. The bigger breathers should do what you want as it does for my BBCs. The Dry Sump would work but is a lot of time and money for the little extra it does.

You gotta report back this season if they randomly pop up on their own like the others!

Does it take a lot of effort to pull up those new ones? I have the same ones and they are brutal to pull out.

How long does it take for THAT to start happening? The ones I installed a couple years ago are almost TOO hard to push the button. Mine are the "stud" style, where you don't see the screws from the outside, but I can't think of a reason that would make a difference. Thanks. Brad. |

It was only the front ones that poped out on me .. I bought a new one and while less, it still poped open.
I also like to use 5/8" rope and the 6" pop ups , there wasn`t much room. The new one are 8". Much more room. Neva, couple whacks and they came out. I had to use a slide hammer on one front cleat.. there was no room to whack em from underneath. If someone used 4200 I could see it beiing an issue. Edit: you`re talking about the new cleats? Nice and smooth. |
