Are these what you have?

Dave,

Being worn out to the point they don't hold is what I meant with "how long does this take. Mine are pretty much brand new and almost hold too well. Yes, those are what I've got.

Install thread

Thanks, Brad.

If these pop up then there`s a serious problem , like the boat is upside down

Are they spring loaded or double detent? Just curious....

Thanks. Brad.

Neither? Hmm.
There`s a hydraulic feel to open and close.
Not really sure how they work but now you got me curious lol

I don`t know why this is one of my favorite mods.
The old hatch rams are noisy as $hit and .5"/sec. SLOOOWWWWWW

New ones I can hardly hear and 3"/sec. FAAASTT

Starboard is new , Port is the old one for comparison.

I need to get one of theirs. My hatch isn’t loud but it is dog chit slow.

I added a relay box so its powered right off the battery, help a little but you could take a nap waiting for it to open.

The original one is about to die. Might as well order a second one.

Dan,

What do your hatches weigh? I'm considering one of these actuators for my PQ, but the hatch is farqing heavy. 100lb force doesn't seen like it would be enough...

Thanks. Brad.

That's amazing!

I've used Frigelli before for light bar actuator on my prerunner. Not sure why the heck I didn't think of that when I replaced one of mine already, they are way too slow you are right and they were hella more expensive too.
