Looking good! Any pics of the engine builds? I know Eddie does a nice job sharing his assembly progress.

I have a few from when I picked up all the blower parts for powdercoating/polish ... Eddie really blew everything apart for me, much easier to get stuff powdercoated.

Don't think there is anything more to take apart there. Those engines should be better than new when done. Is all painted, powder coated going to Black?
Got my engines going back together now in Black and polished mix. Got the intercoolers all welded/sealed up and ready for assembly, that was a job.

Your engines are going to look Great and probably run even Better.

Don't think there is such a thing as Marine Alcantara. I was going to use Alcantara in my boat but my upholster said it was a mistake and showed me 4 year old seats from a DCB that looked like Crap and faded that were in to be redone. Said she would not do anything in that material anymore. Cool Touch is what I am using now.

I`m a total hypocrite because I hated Alcantara when it came out but when I saw how cool (to the touch) it is, it sold me.
I`m mixing it with different textures/materials.... some cool touch trio vinyl also but that stuff is only 5-10* cooler.. it`s not that much.

This is the Marine Alcantara that everyone uses. I was told I can use 303 fabric shield on it for some extra protection from the sun.
It has 3 layers , one is waterproof.

Nice job on the intercoolers , that couldn`t have been easy . Nice work!
Black and polished is the theme on mine also, powder coat, annodize and polish depending on the parts. I`m sure we will both have some nice builds.

Yes, sir along with 55MM cam should be nice and easy on the valvetrain.
Coming from a 14-71 and 8.3L whipple these 4L whipples are like little toys, I can`t believe how small the cases are .. these things really push ourt 1100plus hp? lol

I did a ton of research, found the usual, nobody was on the same page but more people said it`s lasts a long time without issues if taken care of right . Waves and Wheels put a piece outside for a few years and supposedly it still looked like new.. I gues ll I`ll find out.
