I did a ton of research, found the usual, nobody was on the same page but more people said it`s lasts a long time without issues if taken care of right . Waves and Wheels put a piece outside for a few years and supposedly it still looked like new.. I gues ll I`ll find out.

Have a buddy at LOTO with a 38 TG that W&W redid the interior on several years back (2017/18) and the Alcantara is holding up nicely.

LOL. You don`t want me to paint anything , trust me.
Bad Kitty is at Performance Boat Center in LOTO.
Huge 12 Door building and 2 paint booths.. they don`t mess around.
I want it done right, 3 people working on it this week.

Damn! I thought you were a little crazy for repainting the boat, now I think you were right!!!

Looks good.

Do you mind asking them what kind and brand of paint they use? I have always wondered because most automotive paints want clear on in a 24 hour window.

Obviously, not something you can do on paint jobs like this.

Not sure what they are using there, but many "automotive" paints wants you to clear in 24 hours so the clear bonds better. But, if you wait over the 24 hrs, most of them just need a scuff to for a tooth for the clear to bond to as after 24 hrs the paint has cured and formed a smooth surface.
