Plane Silly,

Thanks, that will probably be the approach I will use since there is no room on the back of my engine and the decking of a Rage for a rear engine mount.

Where do your inlet and outlet oil lines to the cooler connect to the engine?

Where did you get the oil cooler hold down clamps?

Thanks in advance.

Bill

Heres my old Scarab, its a big industrial cooler from Teague,if I had to do it again, i would prob mount it to the motor or on the stringer below the motor, i like the idear on everything mounted to the motor, self contained, you can pull it off the dyno and put in boat and be running in a hour, keeps it simple.

Its brass in the pick:ernaehrung004:

Rob,
I see you went to AFR heads in one photo. How much did they help over the GM heads you had?

Thanks again. I would rather install the cooler on the engine as well if it would fit but that is not looking likely with my tight clearances at the engine rear.

I also have a remote oil filter mounted to the transom and those are the lines that run to the oil cooler.

Yes, nice guy indeed. He got a little bored with his 100mph Heat so it was time to do something else.
He didn't really sneak it on me; he actually flew me out to give it a once over :) (Thanks to Bill (Rage) for toting us around!)
He stepped out of the Nordic box with his choice and I think he made a good one :ernaehrung004:
Guess I'll be learning a bit more about these Slingshots; I actually have a 525EFI Whipple motor from another one on my operating table :D

Talk to you soon,
Dave

Thanks.

What oil line size did you run to and from the cooler?
