Chris...Dave (Nordic Heat) had his procharged 540 that was pretty fast, 90s I think. He probably ran with you in the Havasu Poker Run.

Re: Newbie Nordic Owner (Maybe)
There's a gentleman by the name of Glen that was posting some time back and has verified runs of 103-104 with a beefed up Paul Phaff 1100 hp motor with a few Bmaxs to prove it.
My best verified runs were (when I was Nordicheat) 90-92 mph with 850+ hp. I have since passed the heart to a new owner where it will also reside in a Heat.
That's the number one and two "verified" that I know of. I'm sure there's someone out there just as nuts
I'm now slowing down to 80 in comfort and a smiling wife

Dave, That won't last long. I give you two years tops before you have some mods going on. You just waiting to ease mama into them.

Linnie and Indy.....No Comment (Raylar, Raylar, Raylar) Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Hey Bent, I was thinking exactly what Harper220 said above. Save yourself the $3-$4k for the HO upgrade and buy the Raylar at the same time you get the boat. Drive it for the summer and then have Bob install the kit this coming winter. You'll end up spending about $2.5k for 525 hp (plus Bob's labor of course). It makes real good sense and then we'll have some really good data for "someone"
Later,
Dave

I know everyone is looking at these Raylar kits. has anyone installed one yet? And are they happy with the results/performance?
