Lucididee,
You didn't miss anything, it's been bad boating weather since Friday.
(Pic attached from Friday- it was just pockets of fog all over)

Lucididee, did you get out on the boat Saturday?
I would have liked to volunteer for "Shore Dreams", but after seeing the fog on Friday and knowing Saturday & Sunday would be worse I decided against it.
Hopefully next year the weather will be better and I could volunteer my time ( I need to do some good.)

That was Friday when it cleared a little bit. Today, I doubt you would be able to see a 1/4 mile in front of you.

(edit.. sorry the sunny pic was a joke.....just wishful thinking!)

NO, better get some more seat time in the river before you head out to the ocean again. Since that happened on the SMOOTHEST part of the course, I would question moving out into the open ocean.

Just looking out for a friend!

No way, Billed loved us in the rough, think he said something like "look at him work that wheel". This is why you never see me hanging out in the river with you, I need to get out into my element.

It's ok we can still boat together, just run to the end of the river with me, then turn around, put the boat on the trailer and meet me at the next inlet. Then we can run together again. Don't worry I won't tell anyone at the docks that you trailered the boat down.

Here is a live web cam from a few miles south of Sandy Hook, the cam is located in Monmouth Beach. If is wasn't for the fog is really looks like great water for Panther to finally take an ocean ride.
