They have been great so far- it went in before the 4th for basic service. New impeller, drive lube change, added a drive shower. They said it would be ready before the holiday and it was. My truck was loaded and I headed down to pick it up but the prop was off (it was in the shop). Jon had one of the guys get and put it on but for some reason it was loose. It wouldn't go on correctly no matter what they did. For safety reasons I decided to leave it and he said he would figure it out this week. He did. Called me today it needed a continuity washer, now it's tight.( I'll be following up with merc at another time) However, he did inform me of a "recall" on the Bravo X drive, the kit was already ordered and boat should be ready by Sat. afternoon.
Assuming the work they have done works properly on the water, I'm very happy with them
. My dealership where I purchased the boat would have sent me on my way with a loose prop and would have never told me about a recall. Oh and the work I had done would have taken my dealership about 2 months. I like the people around this part of NJ in comparison to (Southern) AC area. But I do miss "Rockin the Dock" at Trump Marina.
Frank, feel free to put in the good word, and maybe you can get them to send me home with "Wanna Play" instead of my boat. I would appreciate that.

CasinoRunner,
Glad to have met you on Friday! And it's even better to know you are ready to hit the water!
Thanks for getting the pics of us @ the ramp. Finally a pic of myself in a boat! (Not behind the camera.)

I wish I knew you were gonna be around. We anchored down the Navesink. It's not Patty McGeee's run, but at least it's on the water!

We were waiting for you to show! We brought some dip for the potato chip! (Hope you like French Onion!
)
I wish we could have made it on Sat, but we really weren't ready. We toyed around with the idea that morning. But it was more important to be their with Panther. (And besides, eventually I would have felt like cr@p being there without my bro.)

No pictures from Sat, only 5 boats made the run. There was room at the dock for the 80 Sunseeker, first time ever.
Someone told me they saw Panther sneaking fishing poles and crab traps on the old resin bucket
Let me know about next weekend, I'll drop the Whaler in the water and hang out with you guys in the river. Although the Whaler managed a trip around the hook last week, that little boat is seeing more open water than you guys

Oh wait, you were stuck in a t-storm...
We were running 4700 RPM for the test run with another 800 rpms left in her out in the bay, you know breaking the drive in... People back at the dock said they heard me go all the way out and back.

Way back where, the inlet back up the river? Oh no, you mean Pleasure bay which is IN THE RIVER. Sure they heard you cause cause the dock is also IN THE RIVERr.
I am looking forward to when we can all go out and run again...outside the river that is. I get dizzy making all those turns running in the river, not sure how you do it.
