Cool or send me a copy so I can get it to Tom. They came from all over but a lot of the racers didn't show up. The AMF guys were there and took a run in the js-12 boat. A lot of old timers walking around there too, heard lots of good stories. No sign of sked

I just spoke to a fried, check this out....

There is a guy at his marina with a 28ft fishing boat. He was out fishing Wednesday night and was side swiped by another smaller fishing boat...

The smaller fishing boat did not see the larger boat who was anchored. He tried turning at the last minute and side swiped the larger boat causing $30K worth of hull damages....

He also told me they had to hire a crane to get the other fishing boat off the beach on Sandy Hook...

And people compain about speed boats and poker runs...

Not sure....he must have missed the spreader lights on the back of the boat...or maybe it was the soda pop....

Here's another brain fart..... The insurance adjuster told the owner he could USE the boat in the meantime , you know.. just as ong as he stays in the bay and out of rough water.... The boat is a cored boat..

Both engines have to be pulled, gas tank removed and the side of the boat needs to be re-cored and glassed inside and out....

They have to pull both motors out in order to pull the gas tank, then they can get access to the side of the boat to re-glass it.

I've got another funny story for ya'll......

Sunday afternoon, papa dukes was helping me load the boat on the trailer... Got all hooked up and he started pulling me out of the water...

Half way up the ramp he stomps on the brakes and stops... I was like, WTF and started yelling for him to pull up further onto flat ground....you know logically that's a smart thing to do right....

Well, my fearless father decides to get out of the truck and as he does so the truck starts rolling backwards down the ramp.... At this point I was on the bow and jumped off and started running to the truck. Once I got there he was back in the truck and jamed on the brakes and stopped the truck from rolling back down the ramp and into the water....

So now I'm trying to figure out WTF happened when I notice the truck is in NEUTRAL!! My f#$King father pulled the truck half way up the ramp, put on the emergency brake, then put the truck in neutral and proceeded to exit the vehicle!!
