I hear ya! If we get good weather and the marina lets me stay on the lift I'll push it as long as I can. The marina officially closes Oct. 15th so no more gas (need 93 octane) so it really depends on them and the weather but I usually pull it right around the 15th or a week or so later. Last year we had some warm weather in late October and the marina opened up the gas dock for a few of the customers.

Email sent!

By the way, just a suggestion but edit your post and remove the email address. There are some jackazzes on the internet who troll these websites and search for email addresses and send out a bunch of spam.

What does the marina do with the 93 octane gas that didn't sell prior to 10/15? Does it sit 6-months until spring?

When I was running the gas dock with the owners son I remember that we stopped taking deliveries near the end of the season.... If the weather is good and there's gas left, they'll open up and sell it, otherwise that's it.... In addition, a lot of the boats fill up before being winterized so they pump a lot of it out....the new methanol stuff has changed that thinking for about 50% of people.

I'm sure some may sit until the spring but it's topped off before the marina opens back up again.

What do other marina's do?

I'll post some pictures tomorrow I forgot my camera & yes you will see the engine this weekend. We'll see what Jeff can do with this one. My last boat picked up over 20mph I think it takes alot more power to make a Formula move.
