Cool! So you have the Beacon on board for both days!
I'm not sure what Mike has planned for this weekend, I'll call ya if he's looking to take the boat out. We're gonna have a long weekend next weekend.

Nope, not me!

I figure that they were just being extra cautious after the Seastreak incident. Who knows, maybe it was the 1) NY plates or maybe 2) they were just Playa haters or 3) could've just been the fact that the the Navy Pier was in sight.
I'll go with # 3.

They're REAL STRICT about the pier. $550.00 fine if you boat gets too close. It's posted at the booth at the Atl High ramp.
or Rossback had nothing beter to do. (he's a ball breaker.)

I dont blame them, but no ride on the boat for them.
One cop I met was way cool a few weeks ago at 3am at the ramp. I was adjusting the trailer had the boat in the water, my pregnant wife holding the flashlight...it looked as suspicious as it could get. He hung out with us for like a half hour. His first name was Al. He was ok and said he owned a boat with a friend, I cant remember if it was a Fountain or Formula. Wonder if thats Rossback???

Yea, probably same view, from the beach

I'll send you the pics tomorrow when we get back from the ocean in the 15' Whaler. If you're not scared, take a ride out to see us.

I was bored tonight so I went onto Ebay and bought this. Figure I'll learn how to ride it before you make it to the ocean to run with us.

Heading out in the morning, probably leaving Monmouth Beach around 9am, will be out to probably 1:00. We'll be in a 15 Whaler Jet fishing off the tip of the hook, probably a mile offshore going out the Ambrose channel.

We still have dock space for you when ever you want to stop by.

Mr V,

Tomorrow morning I have an important meeting in the City, I figure I'll be back by 2pm. I was shooting for a 2-3pm launch, if I can find someone to help me get the boat in the water. You may be done by that time.

Tomorrows forecast calls for "swells" 3-5ft, and 5-10kt winds, I love those conditions in comparison to snotty/choppy seas.

What channel do you keep your VHF on?

Thank you--hopefully before this summer ends. I still don't know the river very well, as a matter of fact, got lost in the car today-(bridge was out) stopped to look at a house, took a pic of a river and had no idea if it was the Shrewsbury or Navesink. I'll learn it before the Summer is over.
