Welcome home Panther We had a great run down to AC today ... we met Casino (his brother-in-law in 41' Avanti) and the infamous, non-posting, due to her bustin her a$$ for some slave driving, whip cracker of a boss (lately) ... Lucididee

Got some pics somewhere ... but too tired to DL or post them gotta wait till tomorrow Ran across a shoal today, out of the channel like that friggen blowboat picture and sucked up some sea grass and shells 1 engine was running warm causing us to limp the last 5 miles into AC. An awesome mechanic (Scott) come out to look at it, he took off both sea pumps/impellars and all hoses. Blew it all clean and ended up replacing one impellar. She ran 100% going home

That's when we ran into Casino and Dee, both of them with drinks in hand. We had just finished the repairs and were dieing to eat and have a cold one, said hi and headed to the bar. Heard from the rumor mill Casino Runner may still be running as we speak,,,,, from his better half LOL

Ok, here is how it played out.......The plan was to run the Avanti in some rough seas and meet NJGr8ful in AC yesterday. Instead this is what happend.................
I arrived in NJ and the drive was not on the boat, I had no intention of getting dirty but had to help. Now we are running late and find out that some guests were tagging along. we pull out and realize that the mechanic forgot to tighten the muffler, had to turn back and tighten it (in the water). At this point I'm greasy and salty . I told my brother in law we need to get to North of AC because NJGr8ful might call for some help getting in. We head out to the Ocean one of the guests has a panick attack so we had to go slow. Then one drive locks up and cant start the engine back up. We were already in the Ocean so I told him to keep going.
We finally arrived in AC and ran into NJgr8ful at the docks, he was working on his boat....... I thought we would just hang have some lunch and relax. I head up to the dock and run into " Lucididee" and mtm and others........

Everyone blamed me for everything that went wrong yesterday..... The in-laws called this morning and thought me and the wife were having "problems" etc.........

Excuses---------
I told the wife I was very upset that she wasnt by my side the entire time yesterday and I was hurt .

I blamed my brother in law for not having his drive on before I arrived, I had no intention of getting dirty and that it was our fault NJgr8ful ran into trouble.

The Avanti left without me, I could think of worse places to get stranded than in a Casino, but my wife made sure I had a ride home.

Overall, another great day!!!

Panther was just here talking some smack, I'll bring the camera this time......if he actually puts the boat in the water

Cool, today should be a good day to get some air.

The OCEAN was big and nasty yesterday We considered the outside going home ... made it out the AC Brigintine inlet and the guests were screaming (crying and there was even a couple wet spots on my carpet ) to turn around. I really wanted to turn around too, just this other guy with us kept laying it on about Girl Scouts and children (and Panther ) should have stayed home!!! LOL Just kidding Frank, the Apache prolly could have run in that stuff, but that's about it

We turned it around and ran basically WOT the whole trip home, made it into the dock in Lanoka Harbor at 7:55pm, with stops for gas and cold ones. Loooong day, but fun all in all. Then we went out to the Water's Edge last night few couple hours. I heard there's something going on at Water's Edge next weekend???

LOL I think so! I didn't see any big white OL's there
