Frank- saw the boat @ the marina yesterday, did you end up going out? We went to greenport and were shot at by pirates with cannons and guns. Apparently there's a Maritime festival this weekend -- place was busier than i've ever seen it. Vendors on the street (drinking on the street) concerts, air show, bike raffle, etc. And pirates w/cannons. Definately worth checking out.

Frank let me know next time you're having one of these beer pong get togethers...we had people over last night too, coulda combined messes.

Yeah we went out for a while. I was thinking there wouldn't be any docking over there yesterday. Last night was our block party, but not to worry I am going to put together a beer bong party. Boat ran awesome yesterday with the air nice and crisp. 3 guys beer and ice 1/2 tank fuel = 79mph.

10M 09-20-2009 12:14 PM

Nice...Sound was perfect yesterday. My tattle tale = my girlfriend taking a digital pic of my GPS.

Me, one small girl, no beer, no fuel....got the old girl up to 63.7...Thats all she's got. I gotta get on a "real" fast boat one of these days....the fastest i've gone was in Baker's Delaminator back in the day.

I was surprised to see your boat, I thought it was goin for paint soon?

Sick Stinger 09-20-2009 01:11 PM

Kreed get a hold of me. I have the Email add. of the 31 Bullet in Hartford. Hey 10M i have an 82 mph. boat fresh paint:coolcowboy:

Yeah but in what kind of water will it run those numbers Mike? Craig the Fountain may not be the fastest boat on the water but run it against similar size boats in the 3ft. plus slop and you will have to be looking over your shoulder to see them. I can't tell you how many "85mph" I have gone right by in 3-4 ft.sea, let alone in 5 footers.

Sick Stinger 09-20-2009 07:32 PM

It will run the 3 ft. seas wide open. Ive done 6's at 50 throttling it. was a great time and id do it again and again. I also have a Cafe with 540 750's.
back on topic of why im here, Some one please send me kev's number i have a great lead on a Bullet for him.

Not to be d1ck here Mike but this is my point.I call BS on these numbers. I love how everyones boat does 80 all day long! Or can handle big water it is funny the crap talking. By your example of 7000lbs. 32 ft boat going 50 through 6ft seas then what would an 11500lbs 42 tiger do 50mph in 9ft sea? Come on guys. Mike put the Cafe together take it for a ride in rough water then come tell us what a great rough water boat the Hustler was. :bsflag:

Not an excuse, but we were alittle "foggy". ....Just to let you know, nobody on this site cares about your little beer pong fantasy night. :Whatever: This is a boating site and we were boating on Saturday. Were you? Almost 80 MPH on GPS, as you saw in Franks post. What a great day. Leftly almost flew out of the boat! We gotta get that other hand workin for him so he can hold on better. Anyway, congratulations on your beer pong win Saturday night! You should probably re-think your goals in life.

Care to keep up??? Did you guy by me so fast I didn't notice. Now that you mention it I sorta remember a flame ball. Seriously are you talking about the Hustler or the Cafe that you don't have together yet. You see Mike there is always somone bigger and faster and has more money to spend, which is why I am not sure why you jumped on 10M (Craig) back a couple of pages ago when he posted "real numbers". Now if you would like to post some real proof of the numbers I will be the first to congratulate you on some impressive numbers. If you are on to break balls I would also respect that(big part of being on here for me to keep it fun) but I would suggest to get to know the guy first. But I would also like to say if you want to come out in rough water and prove the Hustler rough water capabilty to me I am available. Have you ever been in an older Cig going 75ph plus in slop you will be impressed when you get yours together, or I can take you for a ride. Ask others on this thread who have been out with me how the boat goes.

Franks boat rides REALLY nice.....plenty of speed and a real wave buster. 32 foot boat....going 50 "all day long" in 6's???? I think you are streching it a tad.... IMO.

Sick Stinger 09-21-2009 08:42 AM

I have no question about how well the boat handles rough stuff. Yes i have been 75 in a cafe in some slop. Ive also been in a Cig with #5 in some good stuff was an excelent ride. Plus i was with an ex racer who know how to drive well so that made it more enjoyable. And as for Jumping on some one, If you put those reading glasses on old timer you will see i was mearly refering to my boat being for sale and that its is and 80 mph boat that i was looking to sell has nothng to do with 10M speed or even queston the boat. My feeling and thoughs are, if you have a boat weather its 1million or 1000 its still a boat and can be enjoyed. Correct some one is always fast bigger strong has more money blah blah blah. But anyone who is thick headed and wants to race every one or always be the best does not boat or go boating with my self i dont have time for numb skulls. Just enjoy boating with who ever when ever.

Okay big Mike I have my reading glasses on! Show me on here where it says it is forsale???? hey Mike I have a 79mph boat going for paint. Watch the calls run in now that according to you I have listed my boat forsale. Oh by the way old timer is a compliment I have experience oppose to being a snot nosed kid.

4195 09-21-2009 09:00 AM

For the record I now my boat is much slower then may boats at my marina and Claudios I am not puffing my chest out and saying it's fast, I am was happy with my numbers on Sat and i do believe it is a great rough water boat. I would like to go faster and own a newer boat but I am unwilling to give up my other toys, so for me it works. And anybody who knows me can verify this is the only toy I have ever kept longer then 2 years. Mike you have already got me excited for next years boating looking forward to running!

10M 09-21-2009 09:03 AM

I posted my speed in response to Frank's as a joke, obviously not to brag about it. Sorry Stinger, I just got this boat so i'm not looking for another. If I had the money to make it go 80, I would (and hopefully will someday). Until then I'll be the guy running the $hit out of the old fountain with stock motors and laughing the whole time.

Sick Stinger 09-21-2009 09:10 AM

You now you boat is slow???? Not making any sence on that one. Also what does it matter if its May June or July does that change speed. Because that last post doesnt really make any sence. As for 10M run the snot out of them thats the best part about stock stuff doesnt break all the time you can enjoy it. Same as the Hustler minor mods but reliable turn key.
-Mike

Sick Stinger 09-21-2009 09:15 AM

I though I had mentioned it was for sale or though it was know as to it was for sale because kev came to look at it. Was not to brag or boast not me at all. My fault though it was said no offence to any one esp. 10M.
-Mike P.S. I would not mind at all to ride on your 35 and see how wel it ride. Mine is an 87 so a but old with TRS. But at the end can i wipe my snot nose on your shirt i never have enough sleeve:coolcowboy:

First of all "make any sence" is spelled sense. It makes a huge difference in speed as to when you are using your boat ask any motor builder hummidty equals poor air quality which will effect performance. My power is also turn key stock I agree it is the best way to go.

JBOUTLAW 09-21-2009 09:20 AM

My boat does NOT go 80 nor will it run top speed in 6 footers but I have one hell of a time on the water!!! On a serious note....a buddy hit a wave wrong and apparently landed pretty hard sideways and ended up ejecting 2 passengers into LI Sound and his wife hit the floor pretty hard (broke 6 ribs and had emergency surgery to have spleen removed). I've made quite a few friends here on OSO and regadless of speed, brand, etc etc just want to remind everyone to be safe and have fun...Thats what its all about!!

4195 09-21-2009 09:21 AM

As the old timer on the board I would love to take you out! You buy the beer and saddle up and we will launch that thing like a jet ski off the ferry wake.:ernaehrung004:

JBOUTLAW 09-21-2009 09:26 AM

Sick Stinger 09-21-2009 09:32 AM

Beer is on me 12 pack 30 rack corona bud bud light you name it ill buy and shoot down. And illl even bring the cooler that keeps its cold for 3 days in 100 degree weather (says so anyway i dont believe it) And yes i not humidity and also sea leavel and hgh elevaton for air thckness matters for performance i was cracking on your incorrect spelling or words i do it all the time. Pot callin the Kettle black
-Mike

Sick Stinger 09-21-2009 09:33 AM

Sorry to hear about the Baja. My G/F broke a foor spranied an elbow and broke a toe on the other foot just going back in the boat ,AT THE DOCK getting a fender out and fell into the boat
-Mike

kreed 09-21-2009 09:49 AM

Mike, I have never been in your Hustler but I will stand behind the performance of Franks boat. I was with him on Saturday and the boat is very impressive. Both in the handling and performance. I was there for that 79 MPH pic he posted. We were doing that speed through 3 footers with the boat going straight as an arrow. With stock 500's, that is flying! Would be interested to see how it would do against the Hustler in 3 footers, but from my expierence, I would put my money on the Cafe Racer. Oh, by the way Mike, I drink Bud Light. You guys are not leavin me out of this party !!!!!!

Sick Stinger 09-21-2009 10:22 AM

Ill bring the Beer when and where be my pleasure.
